Oh wow. It’s been nearly a month since I last blogged. Who am I?
Okay, so this hiatus was unplanned. Even I didn’t see it coming. I had my notebook filled with highlighted items and references to the books I have read and the kdramas I have watched, all set with the intention of blogging about it. And then whoops, now we’re halfway done with April. (What sorcery is this??)
The good news is that I am back with something up my sleeve. It’s all good stuff, I promise! I know this blog has been erratic at its worst and I plan to fix that. Unless you actually love a blog that’s the equivalent of a wandering hobo? (You got me there, folks. I did not see that coming.)
For the first quarter of the year, I managed to read 11 books. I have started reading “Children of Blood and Bone” and “Geekerella.” I have been going at those at a snail’s pace because things kept popping up and ugh. I thought high school was hard???? Someone beam me back up to those days. I know what to do now. HAHA.
Today’s post is brought to you by a hungry stomach (mine) and a body (also mine) that has only slept for 6.5 hours. (I prefer 7 to 8 sleep hours when it’s the workweek, okay?) It is also brought to you with a dash of optimism for the direction of this blog, today’s post counting only as a sort of PSA. I just wanted to let you folks know that you can expect more bookish + horror posts soon, with a side of personal stuff (including kdramas).
I will see you all in my next blog post. Until then, it’s best to remember that when you hate something, it’s always better to ask yourself what to do with it rather than focus on that hate eating you up. (I just got inspired by this tweet from WTNV. Don’t look at me like that. *shrug*)
